Puppy Food

 We recommend Grain Free dog food.  This is hard to find at grocery stores (although there is some).  We recommend this because it is healthy for your dog and will reduce the amount of waste and will make the consistency much firmer and easier to deal with.  When you pick up your puppy, it will be used to Taste of the Wild puppy food that has been soaked for 10 minutes+ in warm water.  Your puppy will be getting food 3 times a day.  Food should be gone within about 15 minutes - if it is around for hours, you can scale back the amount per feeding.  If they seem hungry or whiny and it is gone quickly, increase the quantity per feeding.  Our 6 month old+ labradoodles get free fed and always have a bowl of food available.  We have not had an issue with weight until they enter the geriatric zone.  ALWAYS provide fresh, clean water 100% of the time.   Taste of the Wild can be purchased at Amazon, Chewy.com, or Tractor Supply.
